Re: Generator, Primitives, and Part questions

(...) The above URL is correct but I went back and reread your post and all of the primitives you listed are already official, they were released with the last parts update. Did you download the last update? If not, here's the URL to the 2003-2 (...) (21 years ago, 2-Oct-03, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Introducing JetRed

(...) This is basically a neat recolor of existing stock sets, ne? recolors are neat and this is a fairly sharp fantasy scheme (I can't see using white doors in real life though), yes, but I guess I like MOCs better. The MOC engine (are the two (...) (21 years ago, 2-Oct-03, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad)

  Re: Introducing JetRed

(...) yup, you're not alone. I've posted a few trains here, not a single response. Luckily, I ran them at shows, and got alot of oohs and ahhs. for instance: (URL) 1 response.   Re: Generator, Primitives, and Part questions

(...) I think partsref uses a perl script, but you may need a UNIX OS of some sort to run it on. :) You might be able to rig up a batch file to do it with ldlite or the ldglite offscreen renderer on Windows. Something like this: FOR %%F IN (*.dat) (...) (21 years ago, 2-Oct-03, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

/snip/ (...) Thanks for the suggestion, I will have to try that out for the rounded wedge pieces. As for my rant before, I am chalking that up to over reacting after a few rough days of life... Thanks for the encouragement. (21 years ago, 2-Oct-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: Generator, Primitives, and Part questions

(...) Where again please (URL)? I am going to this page: (URL) and you cannot find these files there. Of course, I cannot see why these files are not there. Also, the currently downloadable zipfile of the unofficial parts is missing many, many of (...) (21 years ago, 2-Oct-03, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

(...) Another quick suggestion: Run you the POV file the L3P generate through the program found here: (URL) does a fairly good job of smoothing the parts that should be curved -Orion (21 years ago, 2-Oct-03, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad)

Re: Generator, Primitives, and Part questions

  Generator, Primitives, and Part questions

Hey Y'all: 1. Is there a render generator that will automatically generate renders of all the parts in a directory in a specific color at a specific angle? I seem to remember someone posting about this before; and it would seem that such a tool must (...) (21 years ago, 2-Oct-03, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: Stud5 and type 5 lines at edge of cylinders.

(...) That's what I was afraid of... That is not how I handled it in the program. So, now this should apply for any segment files, right? 1-16,1-8,3-16,1-4,7-48, etc? If so, I will have to rethink how to calculate those points. now... this brings us (...) (21 years ago, 2-Oct-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives, FTX)
