It sounds like they recently added some nifty sounding sorting and
occlusion culling code to reduce the output .ps file size.

Wow, this looks very cool! I'd love to see it implemented in an LDraw-based
program. :-)

I'll second that.  Moreover, the EPS and PDF output (in addition to 'plain'
PostScript) apparently supported by gl2ps would also be very nice.
