  Re: announcing TrackDraw (BrickFest preview)

(...) Fantastic news. Thanks for all the hardwork. I am really looking forward to this. Jason Spears | (URL) BrickCentral> | (URL) MichLUG> (21 years ago, 7-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev, FTX)

  Re: announcing TrackDraw (BrickFest preview)

(...) Cool, new code! I'll have to go easy on the Microsoft bashing for a little while. By the way, what is .Net anyhow? I thought it was the latest name for SOAP (perhaps that explains the XML). And hey, since TrackDraw seems to import and export (...) (21 years ago, 7-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.off-topic.geek)

Re: Configuring the .ldr mime-type in Windows XP

(...) Actually I think that does about the same thing as the command line functions above. The problem is that's only half of the solution. Lugnet serves up LDR data with the application/x-ldraw MIME type. In win95 and win98 you could create new (...) (21 years ago, 7-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: announcing TrackDraw (BrickFest preview)

(...) Having been one of the more vocal MS bashers around here, let me say that you should never feel the need to apologize for releasing free software to people. You have obviously put a lot of thought and effort into writing a new utility, and you (...) (21 years ago, 7-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: announcing TrackDraw (BrickFest preview)

<snip> (...) There's absolutely nothing wrong with .net, other than the MS haters don't like it and there are more .net apps out there than you think. As someone else has already mentioned, most of the .net framework is built in to XP and even if (...) (21 years ago, 7-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

MBC 0.4b2 (Cocoa) bug fix release

Following Chris finding some crash bugs in MBC 0.4b1, I have quashed these an placed an interim update 0.4d2 on my .Mac site for downloading. (...) ... (...) I've heard about Linux-based versions of .NET, but I don't have any personal experience with them. It may be very reasonable to port to Linux -- I think the largest stumbling block will be an accurate port of GDI+, the 2D drawing (...) (...) Dude, This might be an English as a second language issue but there is a right way and a wrong way to criticise someone about their work. Your way was definately the wrong way -Orion (21 years ago, 7-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)
