  Re: *** LDView Version 1.9.7 Released ***

(...) I thought I'd let you know that the problem, on my machine, with the sphere primitives turning grey is fixed with this release. One bug report: The preferences menu does not close when the X button in the top corner is clicked. It only closes (...) (22 years ago, 11-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: santa fe -poster- in progress

(...) I just tried this - it works very very well!! And it's not obtrusive at all. Thanks a million!! - Bob (22 years ago, 11-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.trains)

Re: santa fe -poster- in progress

Try this one: (URL) add 2 brackets 2x2, in gray of course :-) Even better if you mount it on top of the 1x2plate+corner plates. Good luck! Klaas H. Meijaard (...) (22 years ago, 11-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.trains)

(...) Sorry, I misinterpretted the pattern - I thought it was a variation of the general icon, not the actual icon itself. (...) Good point. (...) But this 4215a hasn't been modeled in LDraw, right? (...) Good question. Steve (22 years ago, 10-Sep-02, to lugnet.db.brictionary, lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: lgeo renders wrong part

(...) Sorry, my bad. :( I didn't realize there was a data store for LGEO parts. I assumed L3P was checking the LGEO directory for .inc files. Silly me. (...) I'm guessing it's either (a) LGEO has a list of parts somewhere that L3P is referencing or (...) (22 years ago, 10-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: Autoroute!=Towing, right?

(...) "Motorway" is a British term, but I think its meaning is pretty obvious. (...) In California at least, any public road is a highway, even a residential street. Legally, that is. Colloquially it is reserved for interurban roads. But they might (...) (22 years ago, 10-Sep-02, to lugnet.db.brictionary, lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: 1381 Vampire Crypt figs (and garlic tile)

(...) That is how I've coded up minifig heads in the past. Mentally divide face 45 degrees either side of the centre line and draw the region from +45 to -45 as a plane, then project that onto the four facets of the hexdecagon. Then if necessary, do (...)   Re: Excellent rendering...

Just wanted to add my 2 cents about the wonderful images that have been posted. I use Bryce for to render my images. Here are two links to images that make use of a modified light dome technique that was posted to Renderosity.com to simulate (...) (22 years ago, 10-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: 1381 Vampire Crypt figs (and garlic tile)

(...) What's to post? I made a start on a raw list, and you're going to finish for me, right? ;) Seriously, here's the basic list I came up with for Studios minifigs. I'm not claiming that this list is complete or accurate; I spent at least 10 (...) (22 years ago, 10-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: dragNdrop (Was: Ldglite must be faster)

(...) No, it's not up to date because I don't have broadband without firewall. Here's all I had to write. Mac Drag Manager calls are the ones with :: global scope. A lot of magic is hidden in the base class constructor (LDragAndDrop) and more magic (...) (22 years ago, 10-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: dragNdrop (Was: Ldglite must be faster)

  Re: *** LDView Version 1.9.7 Released ***

(...) I'm glad you like it. I thought you had fly-through basically implemented in your test version, though. I'm still undecided on the mouse tracking. I think the way I did it works fine, but it's not at all what people from FPS games are used to. (...) (22 years ago, 10-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: santa fe -poster- in progress

(...) Unfortunately, the weight of it causes the arm with the signals on it to bend down quite a bit. I think it's due to the separate top on the support pillar.
