L3P, an apology (Was: lgeo library)

Hi, In my last post I may have given the impression that L3P writes "bad" POV-code that doesn't work. This isn't so of course and it wasn't my intention to give anyone that impression. What I wanted to say was that L3P writes code optimized for (...) (22 years ago, 2-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Ldglite must be faster

I think we need a tool to search for parts like the one comes in mlcad. (22 years ago, 2-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: lgeo library

(...) There are some new options in POV-Ray 3.5 that confict with POV-code that L3P writes and is used in the LGEO parts, but there is a solution. Read it here: (URL) isn't it! Jeroen (22 years ago, 2-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: LDMC site moved.

(...) Um, ok. Can I get mac@ldraw.org as a forwarding email too?... I like mac.ldraw.org. That way I dont' have to revamp the entire site before I can put it up. I do want to redo the site. I believe Matt G. wanted to also, and almost got it all (...) (22 years ago, 1-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Ledit rules!!

Oh why I didn't learn it before? I love it and also Ldglite is cool since is in lots of systems and it has a ledit mode should we put this tool in the list of editors like: .Ledit original .MLCAD .Leocad I didn't like the idea that mac users where (...) (22 years ago, 1-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LDMC site moved.

(...) Yeah, it sounds like a good idea to me. For a totally separate site, it could be mac.ldraw.org, or we could stuff it in the current nav layout under www.ldraw.org/community/mac/ -Tim (22 years ago, 1-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Ldraw on low systems, laptops

(...) I would tend to agree. LEdit is still interesting. It's fast and efficient because it was written to be used on PCs with very little resources. It's also interesting because of the philosophy that a little training up front can make you much (...) (22 years ago, 1-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad)
