Re: [Parts Tracker] Re-numbering "Star Wars" patterns...

(...) :p That animation is older than the minifig parts. As is the animated file on this page: (URL) (well, ok, that is older than *some* of the minifig parts). Steve (23 years ago, 29-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: Part x176

(...) Hey Ross: sorry I didn't really get the point of your email -- I was in a rush, and didn't look at the parts. Otherwise, I would have said then, what I'm going to say now. Do *not* use the Peeron 'x' numbers as the basis for LDraw parts! The (...) (23 years ago, 29-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Problems submitting upadeted versions of official parts?

(...) Actually, I have to say, Mark's been pretty darn patient. :) But thanks for sticking up for me and the parts tracker. Steve (23 years ago, 29-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Firelogo

(...) Yes, it would be better if the firelogo was a subpart, so it could be reused. The main problem with 4209p01 is it is coded poorly. As you said, the pattern is setup like a sticker. The files should be modified - the printed area should be (...) (23 years ago, 29-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Work-in-progress improved minifig arm

(...) This looks very promising! :) Any chance you're going to recurve the inner surface around the shoulder? It would really help avoid that "CGI intersecting solids" look that we've had going. :) Also, can I reserve judgement as to whether we (...) (23 years ago, 29-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Problems submitting upadeted versions of official parts?

(...) Thanks. When I didn't get any response from the magnet and didn't see it in the tracker I was worried that it didn't get through. What were the problems with it? I also sent in 2560 some time ago and am now submitting a 3647. (23 years ago, 29-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

If you got ideas on making it simpler / more userfriendly I am very interested, because I know for example the part editing part is not that simple. (...) (23 years ago, 28-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Work-in-progress improved minifig arm

Congratulations Chris, This is a tremendous improvement. I wonder whether interior is really necessary. Personally I would be satisfied with a better-than-current exterior. May be the cost in display time is negligeable compared to a whole minifig. (...) (23 years ago, 28-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: check these out!!

(...) Wow, you have designed a coherent custom part set! Such customisation opens endless possibilities. Why not a Roman theme? Why not a Star Trek theme? Why not a Dune theme? Not really lego but really creative anyway, Regards, Damien (23 years ago, 28-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Distance between part and sticker

  Minifig glasses - various styles

Hello, all, Last night I made several different (newer, nicer) versions of the minifig glasses which I first announced in this message: (URL) them here: (URL) the files here: (URL) (23 years ago, 28-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: check these out!!

(...) Very impressive I like does cars if I ever do a racing animation I'll use them. I like the parts also nice work. LEGO the company should add them to the Town theme, the old town theme. (23 years ago, 28-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Digging up an old thread (was: The geometry of minifigs)

(...) I have started working on an improved arm part - and agree this will need to use a new number to aboid backward compatibility issues. I'll try and post work-in-progress here when I have something worthy of comment. Chris (23 years ago, 28-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: New Part: x727 - Trailer 4 x 16 Ramp

These are techniques that proboably did not exist when you made the original part, so there is absolutely no (...) (23 years ago, 28-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
