  Re: Alert box request

Yes. I also have done this several times, cursing my unsteady mousing hand afterwards. :-) This would be a great addition. Possibly a nice little one line fix, depending on what language you use. -Andy Lynch ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ryan (...) (23 years ago, 16-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: Registering file types

(...) OK I loaded ldraw / MLCad on the PC at my office (NT) and it does the same thing. This was a new install - never had it on that PC before. I looked in Explorer, and it has LDR & MPD registered as "MLCAD document". But it still asks me if I (...) (23 years ago, 16-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Question about DAT rendering

I've been toying around with a visual DAT editor/viewer for Mac OS X, and wanted to know if there is supposed to be any kind of guaranteed rendering order on commands within a DAT file. Obviously paying attention to STEP commands would be important, (...) (23 years ago, 16-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Updated website!

After a growing amount of information which I wanted to put on my website, I reorganized the menu structure and made a few new pages. There is a lot of new information on out-of-date pages (like my bio page); almost every page has been updated! My (...) (23 years ago, 16-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.publish, lugnet.cad.dev)

  Alert box request

Michael, Several times now I have gone to select Settings>Change and instead hit Settings>Default and my customized settings are lost. Could you perhaps make an alert box pop up asking, "Are you sure you want to restore settings to default?" Thanks! (...) (23 years ago, 16-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: New Part: x727 - Trailer 4 x 16 Ramp

(...) I know, I know, but I couldn't care much less. The parts I make are good enough for making instructions and overqualified for animations, but never good enough for the authorizing crew. It's no use, I won't even try to submit any more parts to (...) (23 years ago, 15-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Checking 48\1-4ring4.dat

See (URL) Can someone check the vertices in this file? My calculations are differing on most of the values, but only by 0.0001. I used by Excel (in Windows 2000, on a Intel Pentium) and Perl (in Linux, on an Alpha processor) to calculate the (...) (23 years ago, 15-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: New Part: x727 - Trailer 4 x 16 Ramp

Hi Tore, This one could use some edge lines at the tips of the "thumbs" It also has that problem with the optional line where the cylinder meets the flat surface that we talked about before.   Re: When is the next parts release?

(...) Heh. Well, the biggest we've done with the Parts Tracker. I think the 2000-02 update was the largest ever, with 258 files. BTW, I'm showing 62 files need admin review currently. Including 13 fixes, which we can 99% count as going to certified! (...) (23 years ago, 15-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Horse parts in the parts tracker

  Re: Registering file types

Not AFAIK. What other programs would be likely to register those file types? The only other programs I regularly use on the laptop are stuff like MS Office. Also, it continues to ask even if I just start MLcad, exit, and start it again immediately. (...) (23 years ago, 15-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: Registering file types

  Re: Registering file types

I'm trying to find the problem (if there is one). Because in my case MLCad only asks once, then never again. So I wonder if you start any other application registering for ldr or mpd file types?   Re: Numbers Report

(...) Actually, I'm thinking of the reverse situation - the subfile is certified, but the parent file is not certified. In this case, it would be sloppy to release the subfile before the part file is released. Look at the horse files for an example (...) (23 years ago, 15-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)
