  Re: Track Designer Registry

I have added my own elements to my registry, such as some of the newer buildings and some of my own creations - but it is probably only applicable to me. It is easy to add new elements - especially if they are only base plates. It is best to copy an (...) (23 years ago, 9-Mar-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad)

  Re: Rubber belts modelling

Hi Carsten, You are right, rubber belts have a round section, while my models have a square one. The real reason is that I used spring2dat that create square section. An advantage is that there are less facets and anyway belts are so thin that it (...) (23 years ago, 9-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Rubber belts modelling

Hello Philippe, Looks nice to me but (no offense) aren't they normally rounded? Looks very edgy to me. At least all the rubber belts I owe have a round shape. Play well Carsten (...) (23 years ago, 9-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Setting folder icons in Brickshelf

Hi Kevin, I made my first try with Brickshelf yesterday, and had a problem: I uploaded a gif file as icon - it was a 500x410 pixel image, (URL) (actually I intended it to be in the folder, but I goofed...) And now if I look at my icon, the thumbnail (...) (23 years ago, 9-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad)

  creating 'real' technic builing instructions

hi there, I'm working on a tool which creates 'real' building instructions for the old technic-models from dat-files . that means: 1. building a html-page 2. with the 'black and yellow' bars at the right and left border 3. with the 'new' parts (...) (23 years ago, 9-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Setting folder icons in Brickshelf

Every time you upload to a folder or use the 'reload command' in a folder, the system selects the first file (not subfolder) thumbnail as the icon for that folder. If a folder contains only subfolders, you must upload at least one image to the (...) (23 years ago, 9-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Setting folder icons in Brickshelf

(...) Hi Michael, Probably better to mail Kevin with this (webmaster@brickshelf.com), but it's simple - the first image (alphabetically) in the folder determines what thumbnail is displayed for that folder in the parent folder. If there's no images (...) (23 years ago, 9-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Setting folder icons in Brickshelf

I was curious as to how to set an image to replace the manilla folder icon on Brickshelf? I know how to change the personal gallery icon but I can't find a button or link to change the folder ones. Can anyone shed some light on my situation. Thanks (...) (23 years ago, 8-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad)

General question on ldr and mpd files ...

We agreed on having the ldr extension in the future. But there is one point which is not clear for me: Normaly there should be *.dat entries inside a mpd file. Will older software work if I change the extension inside the mpd files? I would like to (...) (23 years ago, 8-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Forestman Cap

I think I saw somewhere that the Forestman Cap was done - but I don't have it in my ldraw parts library and I can't find the dat file online. Help please? (23 years ago, 8-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDraw.org MOTM/SOTM voting for March is open

Your R/W Complexity model looks very interesting. Was there some automated tools at work to generate it? (I award bonus points when voting for good use of tools). I've often thought of doing a tool that starts with a big cube of 1x1 plates and (...) (23 years ago, 8-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad)
