Hi Carsten,
You are right, rubber belts have a round section, while my models have a
square one. The real reason is that I used spring2dat that create square
section. An advantage is that there are less facets and anyway belts are so
thin that it can be hardly noticed in a model.
But I also began a deeper modification of spring2dat to generate complete
rubberbelts around any two round shapes, and I intend to give it the
possibility to output either square section (as it is now) or round one
using 4-4CYLI primitive.

| Hello Philippe, Looks nice to me but (no offense) aren't they normally rounded? Looks very edgy to me. At least all the rubber belts I owe have a round shape. Play well Carsten (...) (23 years ago, 9-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
