  Re: 2865.dat - 9V straight track re-release

(...) Hello, Don't expect too much, i have no idea on how i should create the curved track! I'd like to, but don't know how to start on it. So this problem occurs also on the points. If someone can help me, let me know. But even then, don't expect (...) (23 years ago, 16-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  "www.ldraw.org" off-line

Hi, I made some kind of mistake, when I moved "www.ldraw.org" to a new power supply this morning, so the machine is off-line for a while. I hope to have everything back in order soon. Play well, Jacob (23 years ago, 16-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

"Bernd Broich" <bernd.broich@online.de> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:GrF5JD.5zI@lugnet.com... (...) I found a free UML tool that works and made a class graph showing the classes, we talked about. The tool, Poseidon for UML, is java-based and (as (...) (23 years ago, 16-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Rotating Problem

Hi John, I presume you are using Mlcad, if so you can go to settings, general, change and then (Step,Grid,Snap) simply change a rotation box ie 22.5 (...) (23 years ago, 16-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: Can you customize built-in colors?

(...) Thanks- I'll look into it. I guess it's time to start comparing the rendering of all the editors out there. For my current problem, I ended up rendering with POV-Ray. I realized while doing so that substeps may actually be a little easier (...) (23 years ago, 16-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Part 6588 Question

There are many aspects of the art of piece nomenclature that continue to escape me, but this one has me completely stumped. I just came across what I think is ``Technic Gearbox 2 x 4 x 7'' (URL) doing an inventory of set 6775. I cannot for the life (...) Heya all, where or in which update can I find some woman minifig hair for Ldraw? Best the long hair. Thanx for help. Rene (23 years ago, 15-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Rotating Problem

Whenever I use the Rotation Matrix, it dosn't do anything. Is there a fix for this? I need a finely tuned rotation value. John Henry Kruer (23 years ago, 15-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  A really dumb question...

While perusing the MOTM/SOTM rules I came upon this one: "Model in an entry must be constructed of Lego®-type pieces. Unofficial or mock-up pieces allowed if they are not yet included in the official part releases." I'm not sure if I'm reading it (...) (23 years ago, 15-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad)

I'd like to have a little word with Duncan Jardine - Winner of the SOTM September 2001 on Ldraw.org

Hi Duncan, I'd like to ask you some question about your rendering. Unfortunately you haven't left any e-mail-address. Please contact me. Many thx. Willy (23 years ago, 15-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.people)

Brickcaster Web Page: First Dragon Masters MOC (with building instructions)

Thanks to Chris Dee for the unofficial Dragon Masters minifig torso. Actual renders make me aware I have been too demanding in the past regarding quality of minifig torsos. They are so small in real pictures! Damien (URL) (23 years ago, 15-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.castle, lugnet.announce.moc)

Re: Video Compressions (and a little Apple propaganda)

Which flavor was that Kool-aid? I did not find any deep information on Apple's website. The material I found, a comparison of different codecs, only stated the obvious: Sorensen 3 is good like MPEG but demanding, use DV for DV, Cinepak is good on (...)   Re: Another Space Probe

(...) Very nice! I thought about using the rotor piece to hold six tanks (since I knew the geometry would work out nicely), but I didn't want to have the 'brackets' on the end of the tanks. Plus, I have plenty of 3-long technic beams and spare (...) (23 years ago, 14-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.build)

Re: Video Compressions (and a little Apple propaganda)

(...) LOL! (...) On my Mac, I can view .mov, .mpeg or .mpg (most of the time), .raw (RealPlayer?--most of the time), .asf (Windows Media player--most of the time), and I was able to install the divx system extension and view your .avi's. The quality (...) (23 years ago, 14-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Video Compressions (and a little Apple propaganda)

(...) Hmm.. james@apple.com. Nice.. Not anytime soon. I do my good share of evangelism though. In education (where I am at) Mac does really well, but I guess that means we are under the gun more than other areas. Remember Bill Gates' settlement (...) (23 years ago, 14-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Volunteer(s) please!

Hi all, I just finished chapter 3 to 7 of CONV101 and RNDR101.
