Re: Contacting Reviewers (was: Errors in certified parts (was [Parts Tracker] Daily News))

(...) One way to get around the publishing emails problem is to provide a link against each vote / comment, which brings up a screen with a message field. When you submit the form, it sends email to the chosen reviewer, with subject "re: LDraw parts (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Errors in certified parts (was [Parts Tracker] Daily News)

(...) You posted it right when I was in the middle of prepping the release! :p So, if someone could look over Chris's file, and post a review of go or no-go, that'd be awesome. Steve (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) I agree - I'd rather fix the parts I've submitted - so dont be afraid of pointing out small errors. Chris (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: ldglite 0.9.4

(...) Ok I built it and it works. I guess my notes in makefile.linux were incoherent. To build for Mesa versions older than 4.0 you only need to comment out the OFFSCREEN_LIBS line. I guess the Mesa folks broke OSMesa out into a separate library at (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Trainposter almost ready!

(...) I think there are still a few missing.(example 4564) Plus the windows of some of the models are not modeling well. Other then that it's pretty cool. The background is very hard on the eyes. Dean (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad)

  Will Pay for This Part

I'm still trying to find a DAT for this part: (URL) some internal discussions with other Guild of Bricksmiths members, I have been authorized to offer $20.00 in store credit (good at several GoB member stores) for a POV-friendly DAT file. Please (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: New Part: domeps1.dat - Technic Dome 6 x 6 x 5 2/3 (R2D2 with PATTERN)

(...) I didn't see any missing ones, but you have some that I'd consider removing. Around lines 1974-1984 you have some type 5 lines on the concave section on the back of the part. Since it's concave, you'll never see these lines unless the part is (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Monorail and other parts

(...) I do scan the newsgroups, but parts are not harvested from LUGNET for LDraw. Parts must be submitted to ldraw.org to be considered for release. Steve (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Trainposter almost ready!

Jeroen, I think the whole project is great - wonderful idea and nice renderings. Your poster inspired me to do some ray tracing again. I do think the white background looked better. Thank you. Bob (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad)

  Re: Trainposter almost ready!

I think it looks good! Are you rendering each line segment individually with POV-Ray, and then pasting them together? Are you planning to include the Harry Potter train? :-) Fredrik (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad)

  Re: Trainposter almost ready!

  Re: [Parts Tracker] Daily News

(...) To expand a little on Dan's reply... The updates to Partsref and Peeron don't happen automatically. They are separate processes, and both require work from the people involved.
