  Re: Lego Trainposter preview

(...) Wow, slow down, a A3 300dpi RGB poster wil be 52Mb uncompressed, so a A2 wil be 104Mb and a A1 204Mb... not the files you send over the internet... Eventually the files will be smaller cos they will be compressed (either TIFF-compressed or (...) (23 years ago, 14-Nov-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad)

Re: Question on Lamppost 2x2x7 (Part 2039)

(...) I don't think it is functional. I tried inserting a freestyle flower stem (skinny three pronged type), but it is blocked near the entrance by part of the inside that hangs down between a quarter and a third of the diameter of the hole. A fiber (...) (23 years ago, 14-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad)

Question on Lamppost 2x2x7 (Part 2039)

I am working on DAT file for the fluted lamppost seen in 4554 (Metro Station), 4558 (Metroliner), Paradisa 4161 and (I believe) Hogwarts Express (4708). My question concerns the small hole near the top of the part between the two rings - is this (...) (23 years ago, 13-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Layers in patterns allowed?

(...) Using this layering technique for patterns is generally discouraged as many DAT rendering programs (including the original LDraw) are unable to correctly display close parallel surfaces. For this reason we have avoided creating patterned parts (...) (23 years ago, 13-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Layers in patterns allowed?

Hello! I am jsut wondering if layers are allowed in creating patterns. For example the ufo patterns. You have there circles on ellipses on rings and so on and it would be very hard to fill the spaces with triangles. after doing the complicated (...)   New stuff in my gallery

  Re: Can someone answer this?

I believe there's been a couple versions... one that can take the inner window frames, and one that can't... and one that had small holes on the side, and one that didn't - i'm not sure if these are reflected in the dats however, as they are very (...) (23 years ago, 13-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Can someone answer this?

(...) I'm not sure there's a functional difference - I don't have a copy of each part in my hand right now. In the part files, I can see that 4033.dat has all open studs, while the two end-studs in 6556.dat are regular studs. Steve (23 years ago, 13-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad)
