  Maximum Coarse movement

Michael, Why is the Maximum Coarse movement limited to 100? If one is moving pieces long distances frequently, using the Enter Position/Rotation dialog box can become tiresome. Could you perhaps increase the limit to, say, 250 or so? Regards, --Ryan (23 years ago, 29-May-01, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Differences between rotation points

I am working on making some parts, and I have a couple of questions regarding rotation points. . What is the difference between Part Origin, Part Center, and Part Rotation Point in the Rotation Point dialog box (MLCad)? . Is the Part Rotation Point (...)   Re: # 894 (?) Roadsign Clip-on 2 x 2 Square

(...) For unofficial parts with a temporary (3-digit) number, put an x in front of the filename: 0 Name: x894.dat Of course, you first have to get a number for the file... I'll look up a free number, and let you know... Steve (23 years ago, 29-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: 890, 892 and 894 (?)

(...) Probably not. I don't have my notes handy, but I'm guessing that entire range of numbers is reserved for John's use in the future. So the (temporary, three-digit) number for the square sign will depend on who authors it. Steve (23 years ago, 29-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  L3PAO

Hi all, I have installed L3PAO on two Win98 machines and on one of them I can not get it to work. I have installed the VBRUN 6 files on both, but on one computer I get a message tha COMDLG32.OCX or DLL is the wrong version, though on both machines (...) (23 years ago, 29-May-01, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Macintosh LEGO CAD/LEGO Designer

I just wanted to chime in here. Virtual PC is a workable solution for using MLCad on a Mac. I have been using VPC 4.0 and MLCad 1.99 on a G3/400 PowerBook, and I find it useable (much better than VPC 2.1.3). It is not going to win any speed awards, (...)   Re: New non-magnetic coupler design

I just wanted to say thanks for the kind words. The Technic axle is a #2 not a #3. I also considered using a 1/2-connector-peg-1/2-axle-peg piece too. I might revisit that idea when I run out of #2 axles. The steering piece thingy could be replaced (...) (23 years ago, 29-May-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad)

  Re: New non-magnetic coupler design

  Re: June 2001 MOTM contest

When I vote for MOTM, I consider both the rendering and the model. However, if there are enough POV gurus out there that can submit fairly good models with superb scenes, they could possibly take all votes away from people who make incredible models (...)
