To demonstrate the problem I have I've uploaded some pictures to BrickShelf at (URL) shows the part in MLCad and there are no gaps visible. problem_mlcad2.jpg shows the face and subpart meeting at high zoom, again no gap. problem_pov1.jpg shows a (...) (24 years ago, 26-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

While trying to complete my Darth Maul head I've noticed that the face polygons I've been adding don't quite meet the 3626bs01 subpart at the edges despite me copying the coords from the 3626bp01 part for the corners of these polygons. The gap is (...) (24 years ago, 26-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

(...) Bryce, or more accurately Bryce 4, is a renderer. It is a commercially available program that is very powerful, and the results are very good. Bryce looks a little different from POV-Ray - sort of another philosophy on the idea of "photo-realistic". that shouldn't be too hard either. just operate the matrix on the points alone. if your cilinder has it's axle around the Y axle. L is the length of the cilinder and if it starts at 0 0 0 you could use (1-y/L) 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 (1-y/L) this would turn (...) (24 years ago, 25-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.ray)

yes that idea would work very well. for example it would allow me to rotate xwing wings really easily! but programming side would be tough ill bet. but maybe set kind of "bone animation" which all parts linked to the special "bone" type of legs ( (...) (24 years ago, 25-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad)

Keep in mind that I know nothing about turing, html, computer, or anything of that type that requires neurons. I'm simply suggesting that this would be a cool feature that would make building and designing a lot easier. Make a kind of snap function (...) (24 years ago, 25-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad)
