I've almost finished the Minifig Head with Darth Maul pattern but I don't

the end of the week, it's now about 90% done.

Dan

Speaking of pattern numbers, I have created the gold-faced android head and
developed a fix to the silver one (3626Bp63.dat), so that both parts are
compatible. My problem is that numbers on both sides of the head are claimed by
other groups. For example, the *p64.dat series is claimed by Unitron, and the
*p62.dat series is claimed by part of Ice Planet 2002. I could do as I have
proposed for minifig shortcuts (i.e. 979p63a.dat & 979p63b.dat), but would run
short of characters ("3626Bp63b.dat" is more than 8 characters). So my question
is, what number do I try to give this new head, even though it has very little
difference from the first?

Putting that issue aside for awhile, it also reminds me of a new question.
Because of the changing nature of minifig faces... at least those made after
circa 1992, One can only be left to wonder what happens after the 100th
(non-Star Wars) head is submitted? I guess whenever that happens, we can make
little LEGO figures in blue and white and make the whole set look like Smurfs.
ha ha ha (or is that "Smurves"?) Oh well... it's all in good-humored,
"brick-laying" fun!

P.S.: If you can really see a Dr. Cyber head as Brainy and Timmy as Clumsy,
then it ain't funny anymore.

(...) What exactly was the problem? If you find an error in an existing parts(esp. when the author's email address is in the header, and they are still active), then I think it would be polite to try to establish some communication with the author (...)
