Well, interesting to me... While building the TIE Fighter set, I noticed an obvious CAD-ism in the instructions. Looking at the inset in step 10 (on page 3), the outer edges of the 4x4 radar dish are obviously composed of lines, not a smooth curve. (...) (24 years ago, 20-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad)

(...) hmmm, it appears to be you are correct. with measuring a long piece I come to 3 LDU for the small part if I use 3 LDU for the notch. It just seemed strange to me that I couldn't intertwine the notches of 2 hoses yet the dat files show that (...) (24 years ago, 19-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) I don't know what the "correct" way to use the 80.DAT is. In 78.DAT they are put so that they overlap by 0.4LDU. Yes, they do overlap in 78.DAT. This makes the distance between the "thick parts" 3.6 - 0.4 = 3.2. The width of the notches is (...) (24 years ago, 18-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
