hmmm, it appears to be you are correct. with measuring a long piece I come
to 3 LDU for the small part if I use 3 LDU for the notch. It just seemed
strange to me that I couldn't intertwine the notches of 2 hoses yet the dat
files show that they should fit together.
I've made a new part like 80.dat yet use 3 LDU for the inner cilinder and
count the roundings with the small parts.

May I use this or do I have to type it all in manually and then say I've
made it all by myself ??

| (...) I don't know what the "correct" way to use the 80.DAT is. In 78.DAT they are put so that they overlap by 0.4LDU. Yes, they do overlap in 78.DAT. This makes the distance between the "thick parts" 3.6 - 0.4 = 3.2. The width of the notches is (...) (24 years ago, 18-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
