  Re: Yet another L3PAO update

(...) Oh yeah, definitely. (...) That's actually why I opted to do, I based the window size on the control that is in the lower right corner of the form. Good to see we were thinking the same thing. J (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

re-launch of my Lego ray-tracing site

I am proud to announce the re-launching of my new-and-improved "Ray-Traced Lego Mania" collection.   Re: Yet another L3PAO update

(...) Are you sizing the controls in the Form_Resize event? If not, you should be. Another approach is to fix the form size in the Form_Load event, based on the right-most and bottom-most control(s). Assuming ctlRight is the control that ends (...) (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Hey Lars! Was(MLCAD/L3P/POVRAY Camera Tricks)

(...) Hey Lars, What if we had a part in LDraw like the L3P Light Source that already exists. Only this one would consist of 2 components, a Camera Source and a Camera Target. Then the next version of L3P could support using these for its camera (...) (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.cad)

That's so cool! I was having real brainaches trying to work out the co-ordinates I wanted to set my camera up to use, and this makes it fairly simple. Dan (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.cad)

Re: Can anyone tell me where to get a small UFO top saucer section?

(...) I think Paul Easter is working on one, but I forget his address. Thankfully, he does a LOT of parts, and if you go to the Temporary Parts Tracker, you're sure to find a link to his site. P.S. I'm interested in saucer hulls too. Mike (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

MLCAD/L3P/POVRAY Camera Tricks (was: re: More detail pictures of my condominium)

Thanks Terry K., who deals with the Model of the Month at www.ldraw.org gave me this advice. I'll paraphrase just in case he objects to any of his specific wording. In MLCAD, there is a "part" called POV-RAY (under Other Parts\P). Place 2 of these. (...) (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.cad)

Does anyone have a problem running POV-RAY and MLCAD at the same time?

I have a funny problem that occurs sometimes if I am rendering with POV-RAY in the background and working on MLCAD in the foreground. When I do specific things in MLCAD (the most frequent thing is to pull-down the combo box on the parts selection (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Loving 1.99, here's what I've seen...

The options for rotation points don't seem to be working 100%. The rotations themselves seem perfect, but the point of rotation selection options are having some trouble.
