(...) Standard accepted practice in the parts authoring community is to *not* do this. That is, don't draw parts you don't actually have in front of you. That pic I posted is enough to tell that a part is "wrong" but not enough to tell that a part (...) (24 years ago, 25-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Jamie (my 12yo son) discovered an interesting shape, using plate hinges. He built an octagonal shape, by putting hinge plates <part: 4275> and <part: 4276> onto a z-bracket <part: 6087>. He repeated this structure eight times, and fit it all (...) (24 years ago, 25-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.ideas)

(...) I checked this part out, it looks distorted to me, is that due to the word wrap? I think the base color ring around the edge may be a good thing to have. Also, is anyone working on a decoration sort of similar to this one, I call it the (...) (24 years ago, 25-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) Oops. I forgot to mention the simple solution: post DAT files via LUGNET's web interface. The news-posting pages for the lugnet.cad.dat.* groups provide a simple Upload/Attach DAT File function, so you don't have to paste your DAT file into (...) (24 years ago, 25-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

This one sort of speaks for it's self. Yes, I know that it doesn't have the tiny grey ring at the very outside, but if you ask me, that's pretty much un-necessary. Hi, I found the underside of a saucer section in the standard parts release, but I can't find the upper side. Can anyone tell me its name (if its in the standard release) or where I can get it? (...) Franklin, The same happens with ANYTHING I create in MLCAD. This a by-product of using the hexadecimal system to create 12-bit and 24-bit colors.
