I wouldn't think it's a good idea since this would confuse people. If you drag then drop it at a certain place then goes to a different location?! (...) I think Not, MPD won't act as a virtual direcotry, since you can only use it to represent the model contained within it, not several, unless they all are part of a larger model, (same tree root) i.e. the first file included in the MPD. See ya (...) (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad)

(...) :-, Yah, on some extremely well-used torso pieces. ;-) I was just thinking along the lines that, very few "core" LDraw parts have patterns -- the typical action is to make an unmarked part first, then refer to that unmarked part in a different (...) (...) Easy -- I opened the part (in the models dir) in LEdit, moved something that was totally far from the 5-lines, saved it, and loaded the part in a text editor. Sure enough, the 5-lines with color 24 were now 4-lines with color 24. FWIW, all the (...) (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Anyone have a DAT file for a steering mechanism? I have put together a set of wheels that can be turned (as in steered) but because the model is not very wide, none of the parts I have are working. Hi, When writing a new part, where should the 0,0,0 point be? Is there some rule who say's that this should be somewhere, or could this be any point. The part i'm writing (9V Straight track [2865])has a Y range from -16 to 8 in other words, the (...) (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
