:-, Yah, on some extremely well-used torso pieces. ;-)
I was just thinking along the lines that, very few "core" LDraw parts have
patterns -- the typical action is to make an unmarked part first, then refer
to that unmarked part in a different patterned-part file. Sure, tbe neck
pattern is different in that it's *always* there, but then there's always
the chance that some day it won't be...

| (...) Good points. So the neck-marked torso would be the first among many patterned torso parts. Sort of like the plain minifig head vs. the smiley-face minifig head. (checking Partsref) Drat! 973p01 is already taken! That would have been the (...) (24 years ago, 21-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
