Re: Chopped Throwbot parts (Was: Mark's Lego Creations Update!)

(...) You there's something useful on that part, besides the axle-balls? ;) I believe Gyug posted a mockup of the fake-pneumatics part awhile ago. That could be used as the basis for a modular part. (...) Well, LEdit doesn't care if two parts are (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Planes for a new download-tool (2)

What I can tell you is that the http code will run on Windows if you used sockets for the communication. However designing an interface in Unix and Windows is totaly different, and this most of the tool if believe. Another possibility is to use Java (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) You mean something like this: (URL) I like the idea of a beginner section. Maybe even a newbe forum that some of the oldtimers could monitor. (24 years ago, 21-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Advanced User/Beginning User Sections at ldraw.org

Hey.. I've been doing a lot of thinking on how to improve the site based on discussions I had last week at Kidvention and with a few people who have a real interest in making it as easy as possible for new users to get into LDraw. What the general (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

I took pics of its' hands, because I wanted pics of 6005 in yellow. I didn't know they were going to be selling it, or I'd have taken more full pics of it.   Re: Planes for a new download-tool (2)

Sorry, I guess my previous post may have been a little misleading. The program I am working on (haven't done much with it in the last couple of months, actually), is a general-purpose http download program. It wasn't actually set up to do anything (...)   Chopped Throwbot parts (Was: Mark's Lego Creations Update!)

(...) Hmmm... This seems to be a ongoing desire in many people. Should we get LDraw parts for a customized Throwbot arm part? Not for the official release, of course, but for something to be available would be nice... Cheers, - jsproat (24 years ago, 20-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Since Franklin and Todd have weighed in on this, I'll assume the matter is settled.
