I just downloaded some parts off of Paul Easter's pages that were classified as "nearly complete" (30201 and 30209). They look good rendered in LDlite, but When I tried to build a model with them, they would not show up in LEdit. I then tried (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) Gracias. The 32-bit version worked without a hitch. I had tried the 16-bit version yesterday and it crapped out every time. The ~50Mb file was produced using primatives, but i went back and did it the normal way and came up with a much more (...) (24 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

I've got a .DAT file that's ~50 Mb after exporting if from MLCAD. Is there anything that can convert a file this large (and potentially much larger) to .POV format? For your piece of mind, rendering this beast is not an issue. It will be done on our (...) (24 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

I have also made a new L3Lab, mainly because of a stupid bug in v1.1, where the model was always drawn twice per redraw!! -effectively slowing down rendering to half speed... (L3Lab v1.0 is OK though) I have also added some commandline options for (...) (24 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad)

To me this looks like an Autogyro where the forward thrust is generated by the propellor and the upward lift comes from the free-running rotor which is driven by airflow only. So it would be an STOL (Short Take Of and Landing), I think. Nice model (...) (24 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

My (former) site is closed for renovation, and it seems to take a while, so here is new site (ldraw.org is also updated) and a also new version with a small bug fix: the camera angle defaulted to 1 degree (in stead of 67.38 degrees) resulting in no (...) (...) If it can be rendered at an angle where its not visible, shouldn't be a problem. We do want to show models complete in LDraw....so having that revealed might be a small problem. hey tim i'd love to contribute my aquazone verne model to this: (URL) ldraw file is missing one lower-dome part but i think it would still work well for what you've got. if we're sending you our models should we be prepared to maybe lose a few (...) Hy, I wrote a small tool for viewing .dat and .mpd files which integrates fully into the Internet Explorer. It works fine when loading real dat and mpd files, but does not work with Lugnet dat files. The viewer is registered for cgi types already (...) (24 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad)
