  Re: LdLite 1.6.1 (maybe)

(...) Hmmm, my latest code for LdGLite displays the whole path to the file on the title bar. I've been switching between it and ldlite to check on those 'other characters'. However I've delayed posting the latest ldglite to my web site because I (...) (25 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

LDS and Animation - Suggestions Needed!  [DAT]

Again, I have plans to make animation automated using LDS. But I think this means I need to handle formatted text strings for file names. Also, IF - THEN would be handy, and not that complicated, I guess. A simple example: Z=100 FOR F=1 TO 16 I=I+1 (...) (25 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Looking for a part

Did anyone ever post the bracket which holds the 4x4 faceted hemisphere? I guess it would be 'Bracket 1x2 - 4x4 Round' or something. I remember John VanZwieten being involved in a discussion of the exact angle of this part[1], and I thought it was (...) (25 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: LdLite 1.6.1 (maybe)

(...) I think my problems in IE5 have to do with the 'other characters' that ldlite doesn't like. But that's just a guess. Steve (25 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Organizing the LDraw CD-ROM

(...) So? In many more cases, the VB runtimes will *not* be installed. And the not-installed machines are more likely to be run by the technically-un-savvy. An easy-to-use installer doesn't do any good if it won't run on the majority of machines. (...) (25 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

In lugnet.cad, Steve Bliss writes: [...] (...) It's not a bad little program. The biggest limitations I can find are: - fixed color palette (no clear bricks, those these were hacked in later) - only horizontal orientation (no angular or 90-degree (...) (25 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Gyphon Bricks? (CAD for the Mac)

(...) It's newer than LDraw... My mom has a copy of Gryphon Bricks, for Windows. The kids play it when they're at her house. It's not a bad program, fairly easy to use, but it should be considered a lego-virtual-clone, as many of the pieces are not (...) (25 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad)

I need parts, and I can make you famous

Well, I can make you a little bit famous. I need two parts modeled for a series of articles I'm writing for the O'Reilly Network ((URL) Anyone who models these parts for me will be acknowledged by name (including a web link, if you wish) in the body (...)   Re: LdLite 1.6.1 (maybe)

(...) As" (...) Don't bother, it turns out the "Save As" code was in another source file (ldlitedoc.cpp vs ldliteview.cpp) where it got overlooked. I'll give it another shot this weekend. I'm a bit curious why it didn't work in IE5 for you, but that (...) (25 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Why is my transparency greyed out?

(...) Yes that should work. And if you use transparent colors more often you can customize your color-toolbox by rightclicking on the color-button and selecting a different color. Michael (25 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)
