Mark, Everytime any one of us pushes the envelope in regards to building style, you come up behind us in a rocket powered craft and knock us right off the course, redefining the envelope in the process. (...) things for very long after they're photographed, and at the time, I was unsure how long it would be until I got a digital camera. I needed a lot of those parts for other stuff. AWESOME, Mark!!! You're ships have to have some of the best engine designs, I love the engines on The Lightin' Jack!!! And it separates too, WOW!!! (...) I've found that "scarring" is generally attributable to one of two things: an insufficiently delicate hand, or an insufficiently sharp blade. When you're removing paint with a blade, use *very* gentle pressure - you'd be surprised at how (...) (26 years ago, 5-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

I've found that a bit o' Brasso on a Q-Tip works better than an X-Acto knife for removing microphones... not as much scarring. It does get tricky in small spaces, so if you trim down the fuzz on the Q-Tip first, it can help. I used this method on a (...) (26 years ago, 5-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

(...) hey, jeff ~ i know exactly what you're talking about. ;-) i was able to get some of this same felt, and it's wonderful! i was very impressed with it's durability and color matches to lego. i loaded up on sheets in all the colors, especially, (...)
