It certainly is clearly recognisable as an F-16.

There are a few things that I don't like. The shape of the nose is very odd and
the jet intake is too boxy. Also, the lower part of the fuselage is simply too
big compared to the rest of the aircraft and -no matter what exactly minifig
scale is- the aircraft overall is much too big for a minifig.

There are also quite a few things that I do like. The afterburner is very neat,
the colour scheme is perfect and I like how you built the weapons. My favorite
feature, however, is the retractable landing gear. Having built quite a few
aircraft myself, I know how hard that can be. Years ago I too built an F-16, a
scanned picture of which is in my brickshelf folder

That had a few problems with its landing gear and wasn't quite correctly
proportioned either. Mind you, its lower fuselage was only six studs wide.
Still, it is possible to fit a landing gear similar to that on the F-16 to a
narrow fuselage. Check out the gear on my A-7 Corsair II

In any case, despite my perhaps somewhat negative comments, this is a very
impressive MOC and I look forward to seeing more of your building.

Regards,
Ralph
