I’m not sure I agree that Lego is boxy however you use it. With good sculpting, SNOT and lots of revision it should be possible to get quite a smooth shape at the size you are using for this. This was a fairly quick build of mine (not based on anything real) and I feel I managed to make the nose quite smooth and there’s a lot of other work out there which is much better than that.

And I do like your F-16. In particular the landing gear is a great design and I like the way you did the cockpit.
