New mechs for your approval —Mark Neumann
I've got two new ones up on my website, I'll be adding them to brickshelf as soon as I can.          Re: New mechs for your approval —Mark Neumann
(...) Thanks, I've always had a soft spot for chainguns. I just can't seem to help myself. I'll say to myself, "ok, enough. Lets move on." And as soon as I abandon the idea for something a little less, (shall we say) dramatic, BOOM! The ideas roll (...) (23 years ago, 17-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New mechs for your approval —Mark Neumann
(...) Sounds cool. I'll have to look for it at Scarecrow Video. Hey, I was curious. Did you see the "Spider Platforms" in Project Appleseed? If not, I'd think you'd like them. They're 80' tall walking robotic gun platforms. (23 years ago, 17-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New mechs for your approval —Mark Neumann
(...) Thanks, I went a little overboard on this one. It felt goooood. (...) You know me, These things really should look like they could take a punch. (...) Right on!          Re: New mechs for your approval —Mark Neumann
(...) Thanks, I try to make them intimidating. Also, I've been improving my look, mech by mech. Trying to get a nice balance and proportion vs. beliveability and playability. Get all that and try to have enough colors to make it look good. It's a (...) (23 years ago, 17-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New mechs for your approval —Dave Johann
(...) Note to self-don't tick off Titan pilot.... Seriously, Mark...this might be one of your finest! I really like it a lot (and not just because it's red). (...) Okay, you got me!          Re: New mechs for your approval —Mark Neumann
(...) I've been pretending what I'd look like to be in that cockpit. Can you imagine all the red buttons? But really though thank you. Like I said in some of the other message replys I've been refining my mech design. I think so far this is the (...) (23 years ago, 17-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New mechs for your approval —Dave Johann
(...) Heh! It's my favorite as well. Expect to see me use it heavily as I 're-invent' my M-Tron Commandos idea. I've decided that they need to be grittier and meaner so more dark grey is a must. (...) No problem. I'm pretty certain I've got it (...) (23 years ago, 17-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New mechs for your approval —Mark Neumann

Re: New mechs for your approval —Eric Sophie
Man, that is cool looking, the feet are kick-arse, the way those red engine pods meld into the feet really are cool, you really make great "Walker Mechs". The entire look of the Mech is just great. Great job, it's good to see more of you work. Eric (...) (23 years ago, 17-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New mechs for your approval —Mark Neumann
(...) Hey, thanks. It's always good to know that there are others out there with foot fetishes besides me... But really, I don't know if you saw, (I know the pictures aren't that great) but the foot is only standing on the heel, toe, and side (...) (23 years ago, 17-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New mechs for your approval —Geordan Hankinson
(...) Wow! I've found a pun that noseone else has! Yah! (I beat Matt toe it! kneener, kneener, kneener!)          Re: New mechs for your approval —Mark Neumann
Considering that this thing is really heavy I (...) Gah.... that's bad. I think I bust a LUGNUT or two. The legs are pretty simple. A solid skeleton of technic beams with decorations bolted on. The weakest point is at the hip, where Titan looks as (...) (23 years ago, 17-Nov-01, to lugnet.off-topic.pun)

Re: New mechs for your approval —Borislav Marinov
(...) Just the thought that I have wasted a good portion of my life building tanks is sickening when I look at the Titan! There is really nothing like a good heavily armed mech. I have never seen this done on a chicken type mech so I have to ask, (...) (23 years ago, 18-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New mechs for your approval —Mark Neumann
(...) Thank you. I shoot for that. (...) Yeppers, that's why I like em' (...) You know I have thought of this and I think it would look cool, but I have a "reality" issue with it. If the legs are moving all over the place, bouncing off of terrain, (...) (23 years ago, 19-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New mechs for your approval —Borislav Marinov
(...) :) To be honest I think you are way past the reality problem. If the Titan existed and it fired even a few of its cannons at the same time it will fly back in to the air. (...) Well its a thought. I have never seen it done and I will never try (...) (23 years ago, 19-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New mechs for your approval —Mark Neumann
(...) Not at all, think recoiless rifles and energy weapons (lasers). Neither of which produce recoil. On Titan only the chain guns and missles produce recoil, all the rest are energy weapons. (In fact who says a chain gun couldn't become (...) (23 years ago, 20-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New mechs for your approval —Bryce McGlone
Mark, Very good mecha. I would have responded earlier, but work being what it is and all...Anyway seems like you've gotten lots of feedback. I just wanted you to know that I saw them and like them (for what it's worth). Later, Bryce (...) (23 years ago, 18-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New mechs for your approval —Mark Neumann
(...) Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. It floats my already inflated ego. ;-) But really, seeing what others have done and popular opinion only helps me (and everyone else really) do better mechs. Later Mark (23 years ago, 19-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
