Since Kunimasa, nor anybody else here, has posted anything regarding his mecha,
I felt obligated to bring everybody's attention to his amazing work (mecha
MOCs)...

(BTW this list only contains some of his mecha, the rest of his work can be
viewed on his (English) LEGO page, Dai Nippon Technical Research Institute,
over at: http://www.ne.jp/asahi/kunimasa/dntri/index_e.html!!!)

http://www.ne.jp/asahi/kunimasa/dntri/mm21g_e.html - WOW! I think this is one
of the first MOC's to use the new light-green pieces!

http://www.ne.jp/asahi/kunimasa/dntri/mm16f_e.html - Check out the detail and
beautiful design of this amazing mecha!

http://www.ne.jp/asahi/kunimasa/dntri/mm14_e.html - This is what any military
should start thinking about making...

http://www.ne.jp/asahi/kunimasa/dntri/mm10d_e.html - Beautiful!

http://www.ne.jp/asahi/kunimasa/dntri/mmz0011_e.html - Stunning! Actually
transforms!!!

http://www.ne.jp/asahi/kunimasa/dntri/pmm_e.html - Ummm... Very small and
deadly! ;-)

http://www.ne.jp/asahi/kunimasa/dntri/sei_e.html - Love the colour scheme!

Again his main (English) LEGO site URL is:
http://www.ne.jp/asahi/kunimasa/dntri/index_e.html

Kunimasa also has some excellent space ships, but I just wanted to focus on his
excellent mecha MOCs.

Indeed, I agree , I ahve always admired his work, he has a link posted on lugnet. I'd like to see more people build robots in this style, big mech-y creations! His Creations were the first that I saw that were on the order of the Robots I have (...) (23 years ago, 14-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

I've had this link bookmarked for some time: (URL) is on the index page. They are all pretty impressive. Mladen Pejic wrote: (cut) (...) (cut more) I'm kind of partial to this one. Travis Dickinson (23 years ago, 14-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Well, actually his stuff has come up before, but it's been almost a year. (URL) (...) Yeah, he really does make some good stuff. Very much looks like the Heavy Gear kind of mecha. I wish he'd make a few minifig-scale mecha. ;^) Thanks for the (...) (23 years ago, 14-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

It's been a while since I went to DITRI. It looks like Mr Fujisawa has been busy. While I've seen most if those mechas, a few are new. Fairly large as far as mechs go. I think he only uses technic pins and hinges for the joints. Anyway back to work (...) (23 years ago, 14-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Those mechs are pretty good ;-). Japanese constructors have the advantage of being saturated from birth with slick anime mecha images. There really should be some highly adept lego mecha builders lurking in japan. I'd like to see more of them (...) (23 years ago, 14-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
