No, don't worry about it Steve. You put forth an effort you thought was fair
and you judged on your opinion and input. It's fair. I'm still waiting on our
final judge's returns, he's been out of town (London I think) so we'll forgive
the slowness. The plan is still to compare your three results and see if I can
determine a clear winner. If there is not a clear winner I will create a short
list and provide that to the judges and post an update here on LUGNET. However,
I don't think that it will come to that.
My guess folks are getting a litte ancy for a winner, and who can blame them,
this is exiting stuff. Hell, I'm wondering who's gonna win. And since I'm the
only one who's seen the two judges responses so far, let me assure you all, this
is still anyone's game. Let's put it this way, just because it wasn't
hightlighted (or even posted to LUGNET), doesn't mean you're out of the running.
As for elitism tainting this contest... ha. hahaha. hahahahhahh. Heh, you
don't know me very well, do you?
As for the known Mecha masters getting all the attention, ask Bryce McGlone
about his entry and why it wasn't highlighted. Nor Dave Johann's. If these
guys aren't known to be some of the best, I don't know who would be.
