Due to the fact that my materials are about 600 miles from me I was not
able to
build an Iron Mecha myself, but in the true spirit of this forum I want to
share
my views of what I saw you guys build and hopefully, you will have some
time to
comment on my Iron Mecha when I finish it!

you are a very nice man.

element42 = molybdenum = mo = me! (=Matthew Evans, officially)

As far as colors go, the white-red version of this quadra with the added
blue of
the cannon and the dark joints is the cleanest best executed color
management!
The high articulation is a bonus too.

why thankyou very much. I don't really know how impressive the articulation
is but I'm quite proud of it. Colourwise, as I mention in the MOCpage, I
prefer the no-red version; it looks better IMO in real life than the red
striped one. Although I do like the photos of the red one.

Cons: parts of the torso and the left
side look a bit too rigid compared to the rest of the mech, but that may
have
been done on purpose?

If you mean 'blocky' by rigid, then yes, it is largely intentional. If you
mean something else then it probably is unintentional!
The legs were the first part to come together nicely, they got nice and
chunky with the big knee armour, so I tried to follow that up into the
torso. The black stripe is a direct result of trying to increase chunkiness,
I seperated the white wedges with back 3 x 2 wedge bricks to stop it being
so pointy. But I was never totally happy with the sidepod.

Quoting you again: "In the true spirit of this forum" - made me think a bit.
I was a little sad :( when no-one replied to my entry posts. But then I
didn't exactly go crazy posting myself! I thought maybe my lack of
experience meant that my opinion would be ...uncared for? ignored? who
knows. But to hell with that. I will post more. I need to learn, and as twee
as this may sound, I'd like to make some mecha-building friends!
