From all the mechas, this one has to be one that is closest to the image. It
is almost scary how the lego has been molded to match the contest image. The
only problem I see with that is, I hate the starting picture. All of the
mechs entered in this competition reflect the builder, but I feel that the
starting picture simply got the better of the builder this time. The
Bandolero attacks the lack of personality in this mech directly but even
so I would like to see a Dark Iron Mecha that deviates from the starting
parameters a bit but able to stand its ground against a Gundam in a battle.

Bandolero
The Bandolero story, with stylized images that obscured all the model details,
and Spanish dialogue, was intended to show how the imagination can make
something more real and interesting if it is given fewer precise details. This
is the opposite of making a perfect model clone that leaves nothing to the
viewers imagination, which is what the industrial espionage folder
represents.
You can look at a well made model and appreciate it for a moment, but a story
that seeps into your imagination might just get you speaking Spanish days later,
for no apparent reason. :-)
I really like this list. Thanks for making it.
