Congratulations to everyone who entered the Iron Mecha Contest. The number and variety of the entries has exceeded my wildest imagination!!! One million thanks to the people who organized this event!!!

Please excuse me if I don’t know your name and I am using your Brickshelf username instead:

Very fierce mech for its size. I like the uni-color design and the added details from all directions. The model seems to scream “I am coming for you!” As a con, it seems to me it can’t actually move much.

I am worker201. Thanks for the honest criticism and much-appreciated praise. Also, it is nice to see a collection of all the contest entries in one place. Thanks again to Mark for holding the contest, it was an enjoyable learning experience for me.

Once again, the correct link to worker201, Leigh is: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=164992

I am glad you entered your mecha. Some additional comments: the left arm is great; it’s actually so great the right arm has a hard time competing with it. I have only began working with newer joints so I have no clue how to get a shoulder armor over it without destroying the articulation, but I hope to start working on that issue soon. I like how you sacrificed some mobility in the legs but achieved a much cleaner shape in return, a very interesting choice. Keep up the good work!

Bobby
