Bobby,
Thanks for publishing this list. It was cool to see your take on the models, and
intriguing to find the many Iron Mecha models that were not on the official
contest ballot.
I hope none of the builders did not join because of an assumption that they
would not win. As Mark has mentioned, the ballot is still out, waiting on a
final judge’s scorings. I think there were a lot of really great entries, and
some great one’s from builders not known to be Mecha builders.
But I also understand not entering. Time limits, a non-competitive spirit (I
consider a good thing), many possibilities, and am just glad to see even more
cool mechas. Heck, I didn’t build anything did I?

| Congratulations to everyone who entered the Iron Mecha Contest. The number and variety of the entries has exceeded my wildest imagination!!! One million thanks to the people who organized this event!!! Due to the fact that my materials are about 600 (...) (19 years ago, 7-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX) !!
