Please x-fut to lugnet.off-topic.debate.
It is offensive enough to have comments made about mecha builders making mechs
for a contest without having such sore attitudes. I hardly want to read it
myself.
Leigh came out and made clear why he wrote what he did.
Fair enough. I didn't like it and I felt compelled to speak out against it.
He was honest, though I may not have agreed with what he and others said, I
respect his honesty in the matter.
No need to make a bigger problem.
If anybody wishes to add their 2 cents, please help work to create an
understanding between people.
Lastly: I have been answering very nice and supportive emails regarding these
kinds of activities.
This might shed some light as to why this kind of behaviour erks me:
"(Anyone with a brain knows you don't post crap like that in public in the
online LEGO world we live in today.)"
Never expect me to just lay down and accept what I know is wrong.
My post addressed some issues I feel strongly about.

| I was forwarded this little gem from the mean spirited people that frequent jlug. This is far from the first time postings with my name have been brought to my attention. Even newbies have contacted me expressing disgust with the nature of the hate (...) (19 years ago, 7-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha) !!
