  Re: Speaking of gundam inspiration...

(...) I've been referring some of my e-mailers to your site too, since you build more reasonably sized mecha and will have plans available for them. My minifig scale gundams just aren't practical for most people to build, even if I made LDRAW plans. (...) (23 years ago, 16-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Inspiration...?

Hello Bryce- I just was looking around at your brickshelf account, when suddenly it hit me. Your Quetzcoatl (I think that's the name) looks more than a bit like a Balrog from LOTR. Just a thought... Ryan (23 years ago, 16-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Inspiration...?

(...) Well, I got started after playing Mechwarrior3. After that, I began to find sites from people like Mladen Pejic, Burkhard Schlomer, and Brickshelf.   Speaking of gundam inspiration...

My site was featured on www.gundam.com recently and now I'm flooded with mail from people who want to build lego gundams just like them :-) This is of course more easily said than done, but that's the best form of inspiration. I was inspired by the (...) (23 years ago, 15-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Inspiration...?

(...) I was very inspired by that model, too. I remember surfing the "Cool Lego Site of the Week" and seeing the purist model. I had no idea what a gundam was at that time, but I thought the design was very clean. I was amazed by the fact that (...) (23 years ago, 15-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Inspiration...?

(...) Gundam hands down. I've loved the designs for years. Even in my dark ages I would always think "that would be so cool made out of Lego".
