hey hey,
Well, all other mecha builders constantly push me to build even better (and
bigger) ;-)
As far as non-lego inspiration goes, I think I get it from lots of places.
anime (obviously)
video games (there have been some sweet mecha games for PS2 as of late
((armoured core 2, Zone of the enders)))
And modeling pages, which are usually based on mecha from anime, but models
bring another dimension to the 2d drawings from the actual anime itself.
and ya know...
sometimes, I can get inspired by the funkyiest things, some of the leg
design on my eisen I got from the way this one pair of pants I have swoosh
in the wind while I'm walking to school. =^P
I've been inspired by things around the house too, like the shape of a
blender or a iron etc. mind you, that is only inspiration for a particular
shape or small section on the final mecha.
http://www.mo-craft.co.jp/wa02.htm that has been my main non-lego
inspiration for the model I'm working on now. =^)

| Calling all Mech heads out there! I just would like take a little poll here if you don't mind. I've seen alot of cool stuff out there that you've all built but I'm just curious as to what was the first mech/mecha that really got you "hooked". And (...)
