"Mech" is a trademark owned by FASA (the makers of the rediculously bad Battletech series of miniature wargames) derived from the word "BattleMech". They (...) Dude, you are SO cool. I'm not worthy. <bowing> The cool thing is, these don't necessarily have to be microfig scale... they could also be minifig scale combat droids! Say, is there a good guide around anywhere to mech terminology, especially weapon types? One of the notations I've seen a lot of, for instance, is "SRM##", where the ##'s seem to be the count of rockets (i.e., SRM8 or SRM20). At this point, I can (...) It's true that many of them are heavily ornamental, but if you scour through some of the 20-odd different series, you can find more "military" looking mecha. Some of my favorites: Zeta (...) I was just wondering what anime/manga everyone here is most inspired by when making their own creations. Personally, Gundam first started me in the idea of making Lego Mecha, but Evengelion is also shifting my interests into making more sleek/agile (...) Boy, a scanner like that would sure be something! That would save *everyone* a ton of time. 8) As for your Mac. At this point there really isn't any software for that platform.
