Hi, I am about to embark on building my very first Mecha and intend to incorporate the Mindstorms RCX unit (with motors/light sensor/etc.). Does anyone have some advice they can offer? Thanks! My mom currently has possession of 2/3 of my lego sets so mostly what I have to work with is Technic and Model Team pieces, hence the predominant beams-and-pins design of my big mech. (...) I think the point was the availability of orange pieces. Orange isn't as widely available as green for instance. It makes building a challenge when a rare color is featured prominently. Yes the mirage is quite incredible I think. I hadn't seen it yet till the other day and I almost fell off my chair when I did! Actually, as far as I know it, it WAS me! But I could care less if you give me credit for it. I've had enough people tell me that my attitude about asking for credit is wrong and annoying. I don't usually borrow ideas but I liked this one too much. Who first came up with the 1x1 cylinders between two 1xn plates ammo magazine? Cool mecha. You've pulled off the brutish, grunt look very well. I am a fan of Gorilla-type mecha anyway. I look forward to seeing the combo mecha in action. BTW the Hornet looks great as well. Jessie, I never counted the pcs. But your first guess is what I ussually tell people.
