I'd think bi-pedal would be a tough thing, dealing with balance and all. 3+
legs would help, if you really want it to walk. I'm not a huge fan of
wheels, how about tank treads? That would be cool, and easy to control w/
just two motors (for forward, back, turn left, turn right).

Mainly do the origami type, but for high technical level stuff, you should
ask Eric Spohie.
