Hi everyone! It's been quite a while since I've posted anything. Well, I finished up my latest mecha and you can see it at (URL) should give some credit to Karim Nassar for a couple features, the chain gun was inspired by one of his models. The (...) You can get all technic parts you gonna need in order to build the ankles from current sets - if you just purchase supplementary packs you even won't have to spend much money. LEGO Technic Set 8226 "Off Roader" is a good source too. (24 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

I built Primus BuS' Marauder. I'm finished with it down to the ankles. However, the supplied design does not hold the mech's weight - it falls over backwards when I try and stand it up. (...) you see if they where specialized bullets then you have a problem when mine comes out of the water, its probalby bigger then 3/4 of yours then it got its pulse underwater laser and its missiles so you got a bigger problem not to menter the (...) Thanks Joel! And, yeah mecha don't always have to be two legged and two armed. That's why I like anime so much, because it shows such diversified mecha, unlike Battletech. Super job! Awesome mech, and a sweet idea! I tend to focus so much on space and desolate battlefields water never enters the equation. I guess as a military leader I would pretty much suck, huh? Thanks Greg! Well my definition of mecha is: A mechanical vehicle that mimicks the movements of an organic object, by utilizing limbs and other special features. Ex. A plane is not a mecha, since it does not move it wings to provide propulsion (...) (24 years ago, 6-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Hi Jude, Yes the Ttechnic 1x4s are missile tubes. The pilot sits in the box between the missile launchers. The cockpit is cramped, but has some detail. Hi Greg, Looks like you've got a good start. I don't think I've seen anyone use technic beams to simulate missile ports as of yet, so that's a neat idea. The pistons on the legs are a nice touch. Thanks for the compliments everyone! (...) Unfortunately, the Veritech lies in pieces. . .destroyed in battle by zentradi warriors. Must...have...more...pictures! Underside, back, top, side, multiplied by the three modes. :) Awesome. Or LDraw instuctions! Especially for the mecahnics of the transformations. If you look at the DAT file, you will see that I ended up giving up and cheating to make it work... it works fine in the real model, but LEdit just couldn't handle it... it was Ldrawing this model that got (...)
