Hi Mark,
Thanks for the comments. The Technic missle launcher thing is something I was
doing with my trucks and tanks and stuff, so it just seemed natural to throw
then on the mech.
The pistons are functional, but on the next walker I build I think they will
attach to the lower torso rather than just working the legs. The mech is very
weak at the hip joint. I used Technic black pins, but they don't hold the
weight perfectly. If the top tips forward just enough, it all flops over. :-(
I plan to run an LDraw of this machine, and I hope to post that drawing. It
will give a better understanding of where I went wrong, and more importantly,
where I can do better in the future.
One last note, I kind of think of the mech as a Volvo...Boxy but good!
