Hey all,

I finally got some pictures up of my Robotech Valkyrie/Veritech that I was
working on.  I modelled the transformation around a Takatoku/Bandai toy that
was produced in the mid 80's.

I had a couple goals in mind when I started this project:

First, that it transformed like the toy.
Second that it would be close to minifig scale.

I think I've met these goals but I'm not completely satisfied with the way it
turned out.  At least I know that the transformation is feasible to some
degree.  I hope to redo this model sometime in the future with better overall
proportions.  I'd be great if I could shrink it a bit so I can have a couple
of these.  Removable battle armor would be icing on the cake.

Well, let me know what you guys think.

(...) Oh my god. It's beautiful. I hope you'll consider bringing it to a NELUG meeting so we can have a look at it in person... eric (24 years ago, 1-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Must...have...more...pictures! Underside, back, top, side, multiplied by the three modes. :) Awesome. Or LDraw instuctions! Especially for the mecahnics of the transformations. I have been pondering the dilemma for I dont know how long to get it (...) (24 years ago, 1-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

About the only thing I would recommend -- for this incarnation anyway -- is to make the wings much bigger. *Maybe* twice a big. Other than that, it's one fine model. Are (...)
