  Re: The Beeesh

(...) Thank you Eric, Mladen, Larry and Mark, I have decided to take the plunge.   Re: beginnings of a mech

(...) Mark, thanks for the post since I have been the one that has been asking. I'm not sure if I should smile or cry ... it's so beautiful. I caught my first glimpse of it this morning on Brickshelf! Seeing the inner-workings on a project like this (...) (20 years ago, 14-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  beginnings of a mech

I thought I'd share this as I've seen some postings asking about this very sort of building. One of my mechs, Hammer, fell and had a boo boo. Atomized would be the word. So anway I'm taking it all in stride and building a new mech. I'm gonna call (...) (20 years ago, 14-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX) !

  Re: The Beeesh

(...) Quite the remake of the Gomgile. I'll admit right off that I know near-to-jack about mecha, but I can say the posture of the mech is much improved. B looks eternally ready to pounce. I want to see this in real life, your mechas have so much (...) (20 years ago, 14-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: The Beeesh

(...) I'm not Eric but this question can be asked in any theme, do you start by copying the idioms of the best builders in the theme (be it trains, castle, spaceships, mecha, whatever) or start by trying to develop your own? My advice, however (...) (20 years ago, 14-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Scott, thank you. You do make good points. I appreciate your words. If you place your cursor over the picture links, I embedded construction highlights within the thumb links.   Teikiatsu Ver.2

Teikiatsu Ver.2 (URL) thought i rushed the first version so this is my attempt to fix it. The changes are obvious. I think the head could still be better but that is the way it will be for now. Thanks. Marcus (20 years ago, 13-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Gaidoku

(...) Hey, Thanks for the reply. I could have built a better mini mech but I was trying to limit myself to what pieces I had in front of me at the time. (...) I like it. The color scheme is, if I may say so, more integrated than Teikatsu's. Why? It's mostly spider-orange, but interrupted by grey and black -- which, as an essay (re: Color Theory in LEGO Models) that I recently read explained, are (...)
