NOTE: I have moved some entries into new categories in order to make the
numbers more manageable. The super-scale cars are now together in what was
"Macro Scale". Small Vehicles has been broken up into Fire Apparatus (along
with a couple of 8-wides from Large Vehicles), Classic and Antique, and
Modern.

You can vote on the models in the town building contest here:
http://www.misterpoll.com/1208828515.html

Don't forget to look at all the entries first! At
http://www.lugnet.com/~41/towncomp/2001

And once people have started voting, you can see the ongoing results at
http://www.misterpoll.com/results.mpl?id=1208828515

The voting engine I used prevents double voting, according to the FAQ... but
no-one here would do that anyway, would they? I thought not :-)

Hey Kevin, Are you tracking IP numbers like they do for the MOTM LDRAW competition? Since they've had cheating problems with that, it seems reasonable that we might get the same issue as well. On that note, I only voted for about 6 of the categories (...) (24 years ago, 19-Feb-01, to lugnet.town)
Re: Town Building Contest: Voting now open - Shades of Florida?

(...) A procedural suggestion (and a suggestion only) to prevent another 2000 Florida. Since the voting rules were not stated early on, and it's only day one of a 10 day voting period, I think it would be "OK" to start over again on Monday, and to (...) (24 years ago, 19-Feb-01, to lugnet.town)
Re: Town Building Contest: Voting now open

(...) Hi everyone! I think that the IP address thing is a great idea. It's good to get the cheaters out of there because that really isn't necessary. It's not like we are going for a million bucks here, it's just a chance for people to show their (...) (24 years ago, 20-Feb-01, to lugnet.town)

(...) I'm sure someone has encountered this already, but I didn't see it in this thread - I'm getting an error stating that this poll doesn't exist. Text is: The specified poll (1208828515) does not exist. Contact the webmaster who supplied this (...) (24 years ago, 21-Feb-01, to lugnet.town)
