Yeh, I'd like to know why there are a couple catagories, that are now being
led by models that had NO votes this morning. I don't want to imply that
certain people are cheating becuase I don't know that, but Shane Brunazzi's
fire engines are in 1st and 2nd in the Fire Apparatus catagory. I just find
it hard to believe that anyone would vote for those, so much that it would
shoot them into first & second because looking at earlier results, those
have gotten all the votes since earlier, because the photos are really
blurred, and then there is Rodney who has great models and awesome photos.
What's up with this??
And also another one of his in best use of color?!?!

Also for small buildings, that had been close for first, but now "frozen
cream and more" has an incredible lead.

I'm not pointing fingers, but these models have had WAY too many votes, to
have not had someone submitting multiple entries. I'm not saying it is the
authors who are doing this, but you know, it's kinda obvious and not fair to
the others who had been in the lead... :(

just my $.02

Hey Kevin,

Are you tracking IP numbers like they do for the MOTM LDRAW competition?
Since they've had cheating problems with that, it seems reasonable that we
might get the same issue as well.

On that note, I only voted for about 6 of the categories when I voted
because I was sort-of undecided on the others.  What if I want to vote on
the others later?  Will my second ballot be nixed as a dup?

Also, is there any way to see the actual numbers of votes (or perhaps just
the total number of votes) some place?  I've noticed that the winners have
floated quite a bit during the day.  I'm curious how many people have
actually voted.

NOTE: I have moved some entries into new categories in order to make the
numbers more manageable. The super-scale cars are now together in what was
"Macro Scale". Small Vehicles has been broken up into Fire Apparatus • (along
with a couple of 8-wides from Large Vehicles), Classic and Antique, and
Modern.

You can vote on the models in the town building contest here:

Don't forget to look at all the entries first! At
http://www.lugnet.com/~41/towncomp/2001

And once people have started voting, you can see the ongoing results at
http://www.misterpoll.com/results.mpl?id=1208828515

The voting engine I used prevents double voting, according to the FAQ... • but
no-one here would do that anyway, would they? I thought not :-)
