I fully understand what John is saying!!!!
I can easily visualize a complex architectural wonder on a piece of paper,
but have a very hard time getting perspective down in a sketched scene.
I used to be an Mechanical Engineer, and always had problems desribing my
designs to people who could not visualize in 3d. I am now an animator,
mostly technical, and do everything in 3d. I would truly love to be able to
draw a nice artistic scene on paper! I can't, so I use the computer and a 3d
modeling program to render that realistic scene.
Lego is a great way for ANYONE to learn spacial statics, and with Technic,
spacial dynamics!
