Interesting.
We are exposed to 2 dimensional imagery every day that most people interpret as
realistic: Television, color photography, movies, and even the images that are
formed on the retina of our own eyes are two dimensional. Even if the conscious
mind does not interpret the images as being real, the visual cortex won't know
the difference.
I'm not criticizing, or trying to argue with you on this point, I just find it
personally fascinating that two dimensional imagery would be considered less
concrete than 3 dimensional to the subconscious mind. And the subconscious
ultimately usually has a greater influence on our attitudes and beliefs than
anything we may consciously decide upon.

| I fully understand what John is saying!!!! I can easily visualize a complex architectural wonder on a piece of paper, but have a very hard time getting perspective down in a sketched scene. I used to be an Mechanical Engineer, and always had (...) (26 years ago, 7-Mar-99, to lugnet.build)
