Looks tan to me.  I guess they are light gray.

Well, it looks like tan would look just as good.

The pictures make it look tan... but that's just a color-balance
issue... It seems pretty common. My camera often gets the
color balance wrong with indoor lighting too, but it's easily
corrected in a decent graphics program.

Yup, they're grey.  Using no flash with my camera results in this effect,
I've noticed, but the flash pics were hopelessly overexposed.  The blue
background probably didn't help.  If I ever get a proper website up with
stories and stuff, I'll see if I can figure it out.  One of these days...

Glad you liked 'em!  I may have to get some more sets to finish it off.

(...) Yeah, my camera does that too.. If you look at my pictures here: (URL) see the results of one of my techniques.. Basically I use the flash plus a pair of 500-watt halogens (one aiming up at the cieling for ambient light, the other aiming at (...) (23 years ago, 29-Jan-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)
