This discussion of the 8880 and 8448 Super Cars has been great.
I don't own either yet, and find it difficult to decide between buying
the older 8880 at auction or the 8448 new.
For those familiar with both, if you had choose between one or the
other, which would it be? Why?

| Hands down, I'd get the 8880. Simply because before too long, you will ONLY be able to get them at auction, and prices will skyrocket even more than they occasionally do. You can buy the 8448 for a least the next year. Get an 8880 from DYA now, and (...) (25 years ago, 7-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)
